ESS-MSS WD ABAP Sunset? UI5 Rise?

Hello All,

I just read the documentation for EHP7. SAP has interestingly introduced below 2 business functions for ESS-MSS.

With this certain applications and functions are now available on SAPUI5 - new technological base. SAP says-  (SAPUI5) is an enhancement to the existing solution based on Web Dynpro ABAP.

Is SAP is now replacing WD ABAP UI with SAP UI5 ? Shall we expect to see all ESS-MSS services getting released in SAPUI5 sometime soon (may be EHP8 or9) ?

Someone from SAP or outside please confirm.
