We have a scenario where we manually add component in the Production Order. Usually, the components are not “Cost Relevant”. The components
copied from the BOM have the indicator “Costing Relevancy” NOT set which is ok as this is really not cost relevant. However, when we manually add some components such as label (this is different every shift so this is manually added), the “Costing Relevancy” is automatically set which trigger undesirable GL Postings. Both BOM and Routing is set to NOT Relevant for Costing, and we are wondering why the manually added component automatically have “Relevance for Costing” Indicator set. We want to prevent the “Relevance for Costing” indicator from being set automatically in the production order.
The effect of this are undesirable GL postings which only exist in MTO scenario. MTS scenario does not have this undesirable GL postings.
Kindly help if you have any idea how to prevent the "Relevancy for Costing" Indicator to be NOT set to "X" by default.
