Dear Experts,
We are currently developing a Tyre manufacturing dashboard. Due to its logic, in BW side they cannot develop one query. So they give 2 bex queries to BO side.
The logic is,
1st query - For a specific time period, get all the production orders which movement type =101,102.
Ex: for the month 2014-06, mov.type=101,102, there are 2 prod.orders. - 100001,100002
2nd Query - By giving all the production orders coming from the 1st query , get the standard and actual qty from 2nd query.
Ex: get the prod.orders coming from query 1, join it with query 2 and get the quantities based for the 2 prod.orders.
Prod.order Qty
100001 12
100002 10
I want to know is there any way to combine 2 queries in BO webi?
I found that there is a way of achieving this on webi. Please check the following link.

But I heard that this is only applicable to a Relational connection , ours is a OLAP connection , Combined query option is freeze out in OLAP connection.
Is it correct? For OLAP connections can't we use the above solution? If so is there any other way to do this?
