Hello Experts,
I have install the SAP B1 server. I have updated the patch PL 03 on server. I have install the SAP B1 PL 03 client on Microsoft XP machine.
The problem is that, I am not able to access the database.
When i open SAP client it open the window Landscape Server Selection. When I enter the IP Address of Server where i have installed SAP SERVER.
It enters into the system and new window opens 'SAP Business One'.
When i click on change company it opens the window 'Choose Company'. But it does not show the database server name.
I have attached the same file.(please find the attached document)
I have check the connection between client and server.
I get an reply when i ping the IP address (for ex: 192.168.1.3 -t).
Even i checked the ODBC connectivity. ODBC connectivity also working.
I checked,
1.SAP business one server running or not and starting mode is manual, change it automatic.
2.I disable the anti virus.
3. Compared with other client machine where SAP client is working well.
4. I disable the windows firewall.
5. I have installed native client on client machine.
6. Though it is not good practice but i also replace the conf file of another machine where SAP client is working fine.
7. I have formatted the machine as well.
Still i am not getting the connection between SAP client and server.
